I teach IB Maths full time and most of my students come to me for AA HL when topics start piling up. I’m especially good with functions, calculus and probability, and I spend a lot of time showing students how to write working in a way that actually earns method marks. I also help with IA ideas when a student has a topic in mind but no clear maths behind it yet.

I’m an IB English tutor with a strong literature background and a lot of patience for students who feel stuck on Paper 1. We usually work on building sharper interpretations, choosing evidence properly and making essays sound less rehearsed. I also help with the Individual Oral and HL Essay, especially when students have good ideas but struggle to shape them into something focused.

I’ve taught IB Biology for several years, mostly HL, and I still really enjoy the parts students usually dread: genetics, respiration and molecular biology. My lessons are direct and pretty structured. We go over content, then spend time on data questions and mark command terms carefully. I also support with IA planning, research questions and making sense of feedback before the final submission.

Hi, I tutor IB Chemistry and I’m the person students usually find when equilibrium or organic starts going sideways. I like teaching through short worked examples instead of long explanations, because that’s usually what makes the topic click. A lot of my sessions are also around IA troubleshooting, past paper technique and fixing the small errors that keep costing marks in calculation questions.

I teach IB Physics with a strong exam focus, but I’m not overly rigid about it. Some students need clean notes, some need ten mechanics questions in a row, and some just need someone to explain electricity without making it worse. I work across HL and SL, and I’m particularly comfortable with fields, waves and uncertainty. I also help students tighten up Physics IAs before deadlines get too close.

I’m an IB Psychology tutor and most of my work is with students who know the studies but aren’t yet writing high-scoring SAQs and ERQs. We spend a lot of time on structure, linking back to the question and cutting out waffle. I’ve also helped plenty of students with the Internal Assessment, especially around the write-up and making sure the report sounds like psychology rather than general commentary.

I have taught IB Economics long enough to know that understanding the content is only half the job. The other half is diagrams, chains of reasoning and knowing how to answer the question that was actually asked. I work with both HL and SL students on micro, macro and the commentaries, and I’m particularly useful when a student is underperforming despite doing lots of revision on their own.

I tutor IB Business Management and usually work with students who need help turning class knowledge into decent analysis. We spend time on case study technique, applying terminology properly and avoiding vague points that don’t score. I also support with the Internal Assessment, from choosing a manageable business issue to making sure the final report reads clearly and stays grounded in the syllabus.

I teach IB Geography and I like the subject for what it is: current, messy and full of links between topics. In lessons we work on case study recall, 10-mark structure and how to use maps, data and examples without wasting time. I also help with the fieldwork write-up and IA sections, especially when students have collected information but don’t know how to turn it into a solid investigation.

I’m an IB History tutor with a particular interest in source work, historiography and essays that need more argument, not more facts. A lot of my students are capable readers but lose marks because their answers stay descriptive. We fix that. I also help with Paper 2 and the Historical Investigation, especially topic choice, section structure and making sure the analysis sounds clear rather than overdone.
